Christie makes a small but memorable appearance as Gwen in the A24 horror comedy film, In Fabric. The film premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival and was nominated for numerous awards including the 2019 British Independent Film Award.
Christie plays Gwen, the unlikeable and intimidating girlfriend of Zach (the son of Sheila, the main protagonist of the first segment). Even though Christie's Gwen only has a short amount of screen time she stands out due to her being an over-the-top glamourous model who antagonizes Shelia constantly. Gwen also gets a memorable almost-death scene where she comes close to being strangled by the haunted red dress.

Christie worked with Robert Zemeckis, playing Anna in the live-action-animated film Marwencol.
In the real world, Anna is a Russian immigrant caretaker of Mark (Steve Carrell, also in 2022's Minions: The Rise of Gru), while in the doll world, she is a Soviet member of the Cap'n Hoagie team. She is very strong-willed and helps Mark stick up for himself. This is also an example of Christie doing a different accent (Russian) from her normal British one, which makes Anna stand out from her other roles.

Christie plays Jane Murdstone in the BAFTA-nominated Armando Iannucci film, The Personal History of David Copperfield.
Jane Murdstone is another villainous role for Christie, as the cruel sister to David's stepfather. She is another small part for Christie, however, she stands out due to her hatred of children - specifically boys, which means she makes things very hard for David.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 (2015) - 6.5

Christie was featured in the YA dystopia Mockingjay - Part 2 as Commander Lyme.
Although Christie's appearance as Commander Lyme is very brief, she is memorable due to her being the leader of the rebels in District 2. Also of note is Lyme's mysterious fate as it is never revealed what happened to her during the battle. Had her fate been shown, she could have been killed, or perhaps she could have lived longer.

In one of her earliest onscreen roles, Christie played Classy Shopper 2 in Terry Gilliam's Johnny Depp as one of the Dream Tonys.
Christie may have only had a small role as a wealthy woman watching the revamped Imaginarium show, but it's intriguing to see where she started in her film acting career. This would not be her last time working with Gilliam either. She later went on to play Woman in a Street Commercial in The Zero Theorem. One day, with her current star power, perhaps she could play a starring role in a Gilliam film.

memorable death scene in The Last Jedi.
It's satisfying to see Finn gain the upper hand and defeat his arch-nemesis. While it does feel like a missed opportunity to not give more material to the character, at the very least she gets a standout death scene.
Our Friend (2019) - 7.3

Christie plays another non-British character as Teresa, a German backpacker in the drama romance, Our Friend. Her role as Teresa was also relatively small but still impactful.
Her German backpacker character shows kindness and concern when it appears the also backpacking Dane is suicidal due to working dead-end jobs and her kindness and concern help Dane to regain the will to live. Also of note is the fact that once again she is playing a non-British role, in this case, German.
The 7 Ages Of Britain Teaser (2010) - 7.4

Christie plays The Operator in the experimental short film The 7 Ages of Britain Teaser, opposite Johnny Vivash and real-life journalist and presenter, David Dimbleby.
This is by far one of Christie's most experimental films. Her role is very surreal, as she is dressed in all gold and what appears to be a wrestler's mask, with her claiming to Kus (Vivash) that they could "control the modern age" using The Face (Dimbleby). The part is largely symbolic in the context of the short and shows her giving a more avant-garde performance.

She is established as a fierce and terrifying First Order commander, massacring a village in her introduction and later establishing herself as Finn's enemy by reprimanding him when he takes his helmet off without permission. While she is a formidable presence as an antagonist, she does get her comeuppance when she is taken hostage by Finn, Han Solo, and Chewbacca, and threatened to be sent to the trash compactor.

Christie takes on Shakespeare in this experimental production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, playing both Hippolyta and Titania.
This is a unique production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, however, as Christie's Titania gets Oberon's usual dialogue. This gives Titania much more power than she normally has when collaborating with Puck, and it is now Oberon who falls in love with Bottom. The identity of Christie's Hippolyta is played with as well, with her trapped in a glass cage as Athens is characterized as a The Handmaid's Tale-esque dystopia. This is a truly unusual production for Christie's talents.
