The latest chapter delves into the escalating conflict between the Ancient Heroes and the looming darkness that threatens the Kingdom. Of course, the Dark Enchantress Cookie continues to quietly pull the strings from behind the scenes, deceiving everyone. The battle of light and darkness is quickly reaching its peak, and Pure Vanilla Cookie seems to be stuck in the middle of a sinister plot.

The final member of the deceitful trio has arrived in CRK to Shadow Milk and Candy Apple - how should you build Black Sapphire Cookie?
Players will explore the Beacon of Truth, a crucial location in the unfolding battle between light and darkness. The new setting brings about new game features, including curiosity and hope. The curiosity effect is available from stages 8-4, and once the meter fills up, it will activate Shadow Milk Cookie’s interest and trigger his playtime. Cookies will then turn into chess pieces, which will amplify their debuffs and weaken their defenses. Pure Vanilla Cookie will remain immune from this effect, also protecting his allies in tandem.

New Mechanics, Features & More Are Live Now
The Hope mechanic will be active in stages 8-16, which activates Light of Salvation once it’s full — this restores HP and grants a shield. A new skill called Truth and Deceit is also available during these stages, which will heal allies and deal damage to enemies. More excitingly, Pure Vanilla Cookie’s awakened form will be in play, activating Warmth of Comion, which effectively heals the team and reduces injury.
Finally, players can expect a new epic cookie, called Black Sapphire Cookie, which delivers poison-type damage after exploding on the battlefield. There are also new resonant toppings available now, which can be equipped by Pure Vanilla, Sparkling Cookie, Financier Cookie, and more. There are a ton of rewards to earn and redeem in the shop, including Secret Garden tools like Choco Rewindo, Slammin’ Hammer, and Gnome Blueprint to make construction easier. There are plenty more sweet surprises to uncover in CookieRun: Kingdom, and now that the update is live, players can do so and learn the fate of the beloved Pure Vanilla Cookie in real-time.
