Kevin Costner has a deep history both in front of and behind the camera. He has won two Oscars, including for Best Director and Best Picture for his 1990 historical epic Dances with Wolves. The actor has also been a part of other iconic projects, including Field of Dreams, The Bodyguard, and The Postman. Many of his works have been critically acclaimed, including Bull Durham and Hidden Figures, which have 97% and 93% Rotten Tomatoes scores, respectively.

While many of these films have been well-received, not all of Costner's films have been so lucky. Through all his successes, the actor has also had flops both critically and commercially. His lowest-rated film on Rotten Tomatoes was Dragonfly, a 2002 film that managed only a 7% approval rating. Even The Postman, which has become a staple film in his career, was a critical and box office bomb, scoring a 14% Tomatometer and making just over $17 million on an estimated $80 million budget. One of Costner's 2024 films had a similarly unfortunate fate.
