Indiana Jones and the Great Circle conversation on a boat

As a game with a few notable issues and a strong foundation to build on, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is the perfect kind of game to receive a sequel - especially since, according to Haab, the developers at MachineGames seem eager to get another shot at the franchise. Unfortunately, whether The Great Circle gets a sequel or not, it'll probably be a while before any information is publicly revealed, and further news will likely have to wait until at least after the release of The Order of Giants.

While Haab's statements mean that fans can be hopeful for a sequel, it's important to emphasize that no plans for a follow-up have been officially confirmed, and until official confirmation is received, it might be best to think of The Great Circle as a standalone. Positive critical reception is a good sign, but in all likelihood, the future of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is likely going to be most dependent on how much of a profit the game can turn.
