Hype Is Increasing For League Of Legends' Worlds Championship
The former League of Legends President was a unique choice for the game, but many who are familiar with his work know that he has been a fan of the MOBA for years. The partnership between the artist and Riot has seen Lil Nas X’s unique style infiltrate League of Legends in a way that has had fans eager to see what’s next. In fact, this team-up has not been the only one planned to promote the tournament. Riot confirmed League of Legends World Championship skins for Edward Gaming, the winning team from the previous year, in addition to Lil Nas X’s contributions to promote this year's event.
Many League of Legends players have been excited about these collaborations, showing a stream of for President Lil Nas X and Riot as the weeks went on. However, not everyone will be able to see the performance live. Those who've been unfortunate to miss out will still be able to watch the stream live on November 5.
Riot has built up the hype surrounding the Old Town Road star's League of Legends World Championship performance for his entire six-week duration as President, although it remains to be seen if it will beat Lil Nas X’s Roblox concert in viewership and creative flair. In any case, while his time as President was short, seeing Lil Nas X enter the world of games has proven to be a surprising but welcome breath of fresh air.
