The best sequence in reviews for Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning have been great, with Screen Rant's own Mary Kassel giving it a score of 8 out of 10.
Cruise's dedication to making the best movies possible, which can be clearly seen in The Final Reckoning, proves that his future films will also be great. Tom Cruise's movies include more collaborations with longtime Mission: Impossible director Christopher McQuarrie, as well as directors like Doug Liman and Alejandro González Iñárritu. However, out of all these projects, I'm most excited for Cruise's movie called Deeper, mostly because one mesmerizing Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning sequence proves that it could be incredible.
After Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, Tom Cruise Wants To Make An Underwater Thriller Movie
Cruise's Supernatural Thriller Sounds Very Intriguing
Following the release of Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, Cruise has many movies in development. However, according to a recent report from Deadline, he is most eager to start working on one specific film. This movie is currently titled Deeper, and will see Cruise play a disgraced astronaut who goes on a deep dive in a trench that has never been explored before. According to early details about the movie, Cruise's character will encounter a terrifying, supernatural force while on this dive.

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning Changed Drastically After Dead Reckoning's Box Office Disappointment
After Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning fell short at the box office, massive changes were made to The Final Reckoning to make it more successful.
Deeper will be directed by Doug Liman, who Cruise has previously collaborated with for 2014's Edge of Tomorrow and 2017's American Made, both of which received amazing reviews. For years, fans have been asking for a sequel to Edge of Tomorrow, but it seems like Cruise and Liman will work together on two different movies first. Liman is also attached to direct Cruise's movie that will reportedly be filmed on the International Space Station, but he is apparently currently more excited about Deeper, which will take viewers deep into the ocean.
While Cruise will play the lead in the movie, the supernatural thriller will also feature Ana de Armas. According to the report, the two actors have already started doing diving training to prepare for the project. This proves that Cruise is ready to make the film soon, but Deeper's biggest hurdle may be its budget, which reportedly needs to be about $200 million. However, hopefully the success of The Final Reckoning, which has already broken some franchise records, will ensure that Cruise and his team can begin work on Deeper soon.
Mission: Impossible 8's Submarine Sequence Makes Me Confident Deeper Will Be Amazing
Cruise Pulled Off A Thrilling Underwater Sequence In The Final Reckoning
For years, it has been clear that Cruise has a ion for filming sequences underwater. 2015's Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation included a thrilling underwater stunt, and the newest movie in the series sees the actor dive deep into the sea to explore a sunken submarine. In The Final Reckoning, Cruise's Ethan Hunt traverses through the submarine that was previously seen at the beginning of Dead Reckoning to retrieve the source code of the AI program known as the Entity.
Even though the submarine sequence in Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning includes no dialogue, it still manages to be one of the best scenes in the entire movie. This sequence is also filled with so much tension, as the submarine is slowly tipping over the edge of an underwater cliff. All the effort that Crusie and his team put into this sequence makes it a highlight in Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, and proves that Deeper will also be filled with incredible underwater scenes that are bound to keep moviegoers on the edge of their seats.
