Great show then great show now. If you think using real life struggles of teenage girls for entertainment is a bridge too far then I suppose anything remotely grounded in real life should be off limits. Teenage boys struggling with puberty? Off limits. War movies? Off limits. Biographic movies? Off limits. Unless it's completely and utterly alien and no way connected to real life it should be all 100% off limits.
