I know right. After 13 years, hope is lost.

Once upon a time I'd re-read the older books in preparation for the new to come out. I don't even own the books anyone, as I've moved countries several times since the last book. For any other series I would at least buy the ebooks again. For this..... I was 16/17 when I read the first book, I'm now 40. If he ever releases WoW, at his current rate I'll be senile before DoS is out.

It's a double moot point because that was the end of the story. While the books detailing these events STILL have not been released, and may alter what happens, considering the series cut half the featured characters and their accompanying plots. This doesn't take away from the fact that if HBO went for season 9 they would be creating their own story surely to capitalise on the popularity.
