Eddie was missing from Season 1 too. It’s not that serious and he cheated on Marisol with the Shannon doppelgänger. He needs to reckon with how he views and treats love interests. Everyone is not a glorified babysitter.

I think it’s a terrible idea to make them a couple. I love queer representation but these two are not compatible romantically but more like platonic soul mates.

Plus the workplace drama would be disrupted by trying to figure out how to handle their romantic relationship. We would never get a narrative break from these two characters, in a show filled with other stories to be told.
