Joel was a major focus. But the series has always undeniably revolved around Ellie. Her immunity, makes her the story. Without her you just have people running and fighting and dying with no catalyst for hope.

I get the feeling that the person writing this article clearly didn't read "The Cursed Child". Of course Albus was scared to be in Slytherin house, his whole family was Griffindor. Sure, he could have explicitly asked to be placed in Slytherin or another house for that matter, but that doesn't mean he didn't belong there. There are thousands of Witches and Wizards who probably could have asked to be placed in another house and didn't. That doesn't make their placement any less correct. Harry directly challenged the hat, and the hat obliged him, and in his case the hat was wrong. Albus was put exactly where he needed to be placed. The Screenplay was awful, and I would've liked it better as a full fledged book, but I stand by what I've said.
