See All10 Horror Movies That Are Actually Terrifying From Start To Finish
Okay, I it that Hereditary and Sinister gave me the creeps the first time I watched them. I haven't seen When Evil Lurks so I can't conment on it. But the other movies here were subpar in "scary from start to finish" for me compared to:
1) Ringu (the original Japanese one), 2) Ju-On (the original Japanese of The Grudge), 3) Pocong (my local country's horror film), 4) It Follows (although I fell asleep in the middle because I watched it at midnight, I got a nightmare of someone's following me!), 5) The Exorcist (I sneak out to watch it alone at 2 AM at the age of 14 (saw the ad of the film in HBO). After the movie ends, I can't move my cold body from the floor in front of the TV until it's light outside and my parents got out of their bedroom, LoL. It happened in 1994), 6) Hostel (I watched it alone in my rent house back in university, it gave me paranoia to a lot of things, haha.) and 7) Terrifier (boy do I love this newer villain!)
It's too bad that I have no friends/family who enjoy horror movies to watch them together...I always ended up spooked alone (especially because I also live alone next to a graveyard far from the city). So different strokes for different folks, indeed.
