Like anything else if the ROI is not working out the product goes away. That's always going to leave some people unhappy. And if by some chance that Amazon was forced to finish the production don't you think that they would reduce the budget therefore the quality as it exists.

I have read the books several times and I have no issues with the way the author wrote it. I realize that an adaptation will be different but I think that this adaptation goes to far in changing story arcs. So I just stopped watching it.

I think that there's a world of difference between the stories of Rick Allen and Steve Clark. Allen is a story about an individual who overcame a major disability to continue on with his life. The other about an individual who became addicted and eventually died as a result. A story that is repeated over and over.

The show had a 14 year run and had pretty much run it's course. You can make the claim that the family had unfinished business but that was only a part of the show. As far as crime stories there wasn't much left to continue. People need to let it go and move on.
