VI is not only the best game of the franchise, it is the best JRPG ever. Period. For all of the pretty graphics and overrated characters no other game of its kind had such a well-rounded cast, incredible writing, outstanding music, and the best villain ever - I mean he actually succeeded in destroying the world.

Sakaguchi-san is right. It is his greatest accomplishment and the next ten games still haven't lived up to its legacy.
