I consider it a brilliant move. I moved from NY nearly 21 years ago so I have never been able to avail myself, or my family, of the opportunity to see the play. I read the script/book when published as the story hails back to my favorite book in the series (No spoilers!). I would love to see a movie version (ala WICKED), or hope the HBO series cover it, when they complete the 7th book, as the format allows for the full story to be told. At worst, I'd settle for them to film a performance of the play, for viewing by those unable to see it in person. It is easily my 2nd favorite story in the series.
