Season 28: Portland (2013)

Portland had many hallmarks of The Real World as the cast partied a lot, had crushes on each other, and had arguments. The young adults also explored career options and in one episode, Nia began working at a pizza restaurant.

While the MTV reality series filmed a few seasons in New York, season 21 took place in Brooklyn. The cast lived together in Red Hook and the season dealt with some serious topics, as Ryan was in the Iraq War. There was one lighter moment as the castmates realized that there was a mouse in the apartment.
