As for the involved characters, Capcom has confirmed that the Winters Family, namely Ethan and Rose who were the main playable characters across both Resident Evil 7 and Village, won't be the focus of the fourth game. Given that the franchise's animated films have started bringing together the series' massive cast of heroes like Leon S.
