Suffice it to say, the newest installment in Capcom's long-running horror franchise is already off to an incredibly strong start. It'll be interesting to see how Resident Evil Village fares on the sales charts in the weeks and months ahead, especially on the heels of predominantly positive review scores across the board. The success of Resident Evil 7 suggests Capcom has nothing to worry about on this front, though.

RE Village may even outperform its 2017 predecessor. Capcom's recent release of public demos engendered yet another craze of sorts, evident in some of the mods that have gone viral online over the last several days. With the full game now out in the wild, the Lady Dimitrescu creations are bound to get even creative.
