Shuffle Time in Persona 4 Golden is a mechanic that offers extra rewards to players when exploring dungeons, but not without risks. When activated, player draw a certain number of cards that can reward them with more money, more experience, or even more Personas. However, players can also be met with penalties like reduced money and experience from battles. While this a risk, it's a manageable one, that players can even use to their advantage.

Shuffle Time has a chance of activating after combat in Persona 4 Golden, but it is not guaranteed. If the player ends the battle with an All-Out Attack, then Shuffle Time is guaranteed to activate. Players who draw all the cards in a Shuffle Time, including the penalty cards with negative effects, get a Full Sweep bonus, which will activate Shuffle Time at the end of the next combat no matter what. Full Sweep also gives two more draws and converts any Death, Judgement, or already-owned Persona cards in that Shuffle Time into new cards.

Shuffle Time Card Effects In Persona 4 Golden

Shuffle Time has 26 different possible card types, which can be divided into two categories: blank cards (which have no effect) or Arcana Cards. Some effects are great, or terrible for earning money and leveling Persona 4 Golden. All Arcana Cards will feature a Persona and add it to the player's inventory once drawn.
