A new house listing has caught the attention of skate fans after interior images revealed the home would make the perfect setting for a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 remaster in late 2020, which led to renewed interest in skating video games.

The long-running Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series, first developed by the now-defunct Neversoft and published by Activision in 1999, has often been the skateboarding game of choice for fans of the genre. The series puts players in control of either Hawk or another professional skateboarder of players' choosing, and allows s to skate around various locales. Players must complete objectives to unlock new stages and progress, and may also try to obtain the best possible score in the process by performing various tricks. After Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 released in 2015 to scathing critical reviews, the series made a triumphant return in late 2020 with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, which later saw current-gen upgrades and even a portable version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater thanks to Nintendo Switch.

Online real estate marketplace Zillow caught the attention of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater fans after listing a beautiful 4,100 sq. foot rural lodge in Leavenworth, Washington that seems to have been designed as a skate park. This listing comes courtesy of the Twitter page Zillow Gone Wild, an  dedicated to showcasing the more outrageous and eccentric Zillow real estate listings. While the cedar-crafted domestic interior would be fun for Pro Skater players to skate through, the incredible indoor skate bowl would likely be the main attraction. The skate bowl, seen in the images below, is almost half as wide as the house itself, and looks like it could fit right alongside the rest of the Pro Skater stage selection.

The Tony Hawk Skater series has a wide variety of set pieces from indoor skateparks, abandoned warehouses, and city streets, all the way to airports, bullfighting rings, Area 51, and even an asteroid mining facility. Though it wouldn't be as large or bombastic as other stages, a level based on this skate bowl would possess a realistic, natural, rustic charm that not many stages in Pro Skater capture. While there exists a level of realism in some Pro Skater stages, specifically the grungy, underground themed areas; the skate bowl provides a mellow ‘hang out’ atmosphere where players might just want to chill and mess around.

While Activision-Blizzard has made no announcements regarding any content updates to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, its achievement as the fastest-selling game in the franchise is something for the company to consider. But if the best-case scenario should occur and Activision is motivated to develop a whole new Pro Skater game, it couldn’t hurt to scout real-life locations like the domestic skate bowl in Leavenworth for future stage concepts.
