Although she only lasted four episodes on The Challenge: Spies, Lies and Allies (season 37), she is back for The Challenge: Ride or Dies (season 38) with fellow Survivor alum, Jay Starrett. Michele is gaining some major attention from fans. With a daily challenge win under her belt, she is ready to finally show The Challenge viewers what made her a Survivor winner.
As fans began assessing teams from The Challenge season 38, Reddit winitheju focused on Michele as the breakout star so far. They wrote, "I can’t the last time a new player has been as entertaining as her." Others agree that Michele's confessionals are both funny and insightful, as she brings a strong strategic background from her time on Survivor. Reddit dinosore backed up this claim by commenting, "Michele gets better every time she returns to reality TV."
The Challenge Finds New Blood As Veterans Fail to Entertain
This adoration for Michele certainly comes at a pivotal time for The Challenge franchise, as the veteran players continue to bore viewers with their majority alliance each season. While it's true that the stars have aligned for Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio's return, he and the other veterans have stuck to their perennial plan, which is picking off the rookies one by one as they coast to the final. Luckily, Michele is there to put a wrench in that plan, as she nominated three veteran teams for elimination in episode 5, "Get Rich or Ride or Die Tryin'." Although a rookie pair ultimately went home, Michele's shakeup sent much-needed shock waves through the house.
There are those who doubt Michele, however, as Reddit , The Challenge season 38 needs Michele to stay in the game, and messy gameplay will only make that more difficult.
