2:10 PM - That was an exciting Xbox Showcase, with the hits coming in fast. Hard to keep up with it all! But it certainly looks like 2025 and 2026 will be full of incredible new action-packed games. The new Xbox ROG Ally handheld looks great, the shadow drop of Final Fantasy XVI was a big surprise, and, of course, CoD: Black-Ops 7!

12:59 PM - And here we go! The Xbox Games Showcase has begun!

12:32 PM ET, Carrie - Hello there! We are about thirty minutes away from the Xbox Games Showcase portion of Summer Game Fest 2025. There will undoubtedly be several surprises, as has been the case for all of Summer Game Fest so far. I expect we will probably be seeing more of Gears of War: E-Day, and the new Perfect Dark game that we saw a gameplay reveal for last year.

It's likely too much to ask for a new Elder Scrolls game update, but I'm hoping for perhaps a new Forza Horizon game now that Forza Horizon 5 has come to PlayStation. Blizzard may even give a new look at World of Warcraft's expansion. Following Xbox's portion, there will also be a special deep dive into The Outer Worlds 2.

It's sure to be an exciting event! I'll be giving updates throughout the event, and you can me in watching the stream at the link below.
